Throughout the world, new rules applying to packaging material and transportation equipment are progressively being adopted. From now on, pallets, containers, and other wooden packing supplies used to export your products must comply with phytosanitary regulations. Currently Best Pallets is certified to Heat -treat pallets in accordance with the standards established by the ALSC (AMERICAN LUMBER STANDARDS COMMITTEE), and is confirmed by Best Pallets HT Stamp that we apply to each pallet. This treatment and the ink used for the stamp meets the regulatory requirements of the International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures, ISPM #15.
AN EFFECTIVE TREATMENTIn order to supply products that comply with the new standards regarding wooden material used in packaging and transportation, Best Pallet uses an effective heat sterilization treatment on pallets. The treatment prevents the spreading of parasites, larvae, and fungus causing mildew, in addition to reducing the weight and humidity level of pallets.

Certified processes
All heat treated pallets are stamped with our heat treatment stamps and government issued IPPC# that certify that they have been heat treated to a core temperature of 56 degrees Celsius (132.8 f) for a minimum of 30 minutes.
